Have you ever thought how good it would be to put the favourite music
you own on albums or LP's, on to one or more CD's ?
What about some 45's or 78's too ?
And that stuff you've got on cassette or reel to reel tape ?
Well now you can...

Record Restorations has the know-how and the technology to provide you
with professional CD transfers of all your favourite material.

WHAT IS IT?

Put simply, it's like the restoration of an old photograph, but instead of the image, it's the sound that is restored.

Record Restorations can remove most, if not all of the annoying clicks, pops,
surface noise, tape hiss and static ticks from your favourite LP's, 45's, 78's,
audio cassettes or reel to reel tapes.  All lovingly maintained by our state-of-the-art audio computer tools designed to enhance, restore and archive all your favourite songs, music or spoken word.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Your precious records will be handled with the utmost care and are played
only once on our professional turntables. The audio from each track is recorded into our computers.

It is inside the computer that all of the processing takes place removing ticks, clicks, surface noise etc. Sometimes this can be time consuming depending on the level of restoration you require.

The next step is to assemble the tracks in a playing order,
create a track listing and then transfer the material to CD.

A WORD FROM GARY MAC...

"There are several ways of putting music onto CD.
Amateur enthusiasts may try to impress you with their 'jargon' and 'cheap tools' - which can lead to inferior presentation and labels and disappointing or poor quality sound. So the option you choose will depend on how particular
you are about getting what you really want."

"Record Restorations continues to prove that we do a significantly better job.
The CD's we produce are of the highest quality. We are proud of the fact that the archiving recording process we use to re-master records and analog tapes is crisp and clean and produced to professional benchmark standards."

BY THE WAY...

"We re-master recordings for CD re-issue by major record companies...
YOU CAN HAVE THE SAME PROCESS APPLIED TO YOUR TREASURED MEMORIES."

THE PERFECT GIFT IDEA.

Do you have an old setimental cassette or tape of a family birthday or wedding?
What about a tape of a graduation ceremony?
Or perhaps you've found recordings of the kids as they were growning up.

Have your favorite memories enhanced and preserved on CD.
What a great idea for Anniversaries, Mothers Day, Fathers Day, Birthdays,
Christmas, Easter, Relatives Overseas or any Special Occasion.

CREATING THE FINISHING TOUCH.

Each CD is identified with 'direct to disc' colour printing. For a truly professional finish, Record Restorations produce CD case covers
(front & back) with track listings in full colour. We can also personalize your covers using family photographs, logos etc.

WHAT DOES IT COST?

Because each restoration or archive job can vary for each customer,
please ask for a price list and brochure that will fully explain the
costs of services provided by Record Restorations.

Samantha Sang "The Ultimate Collection"

In 2005 we restored, digitally enhanced and re-mastered three
vinyl record albums for one of Australia's greatest singers
SAMANTHA SANG.

"The Ultimate Collection" is a 2 CD set of that material.

NOW A NEW CD IS AVAILABLE

A new Samantha Sang CD has been released containing a lot of
previously unavailable songs.

The original material was on a combination of reel to reel tapes and cassettes
that had been recorded at numerous TV stations and sound studios.

I am especially proud of my achievements in restoring these fine songs.
